Nancy Pelosi Speaks Out On How Another Trump Presidential Campaign Will Impact The Country
Reports suggest Donald Trump could announce his candidacyfor the 2024 presidential election on Tuesday, but the rumored move has not gone down well with Democrats, including House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif).
Trump possibly running for president again would be bad news for the country, the Speaker said while responding to a question from ABCs This Week host George Stephanopoulos.
The speaker said Trump undermined the integrity of the U.S. elections, hasnt honored his oath of office, and encouraged strange people who do not share the values of the nations democracy to run for office.
So, hes not been a force for good, she said, adding that, So, I dont think his candidacy is a force for good for our country.

Pelosi also saidRepublicans and Democrats have vast differences on key issues.
Republicans do not support science, so they disregard what were saying about climate. They dont support governance, so they dont want to honor what science tells us in terms of the planet, in terms of of health care and the rest, she said.
The House Speaker was in favor of incumbent President Joe Biden running for office for a second term. Acknowledging that Biden has been a great president, she noted that over 10 million jobs were created under his leadership.
