Police seeking armed and dangerous man wanted after N.J. shooting
The Bergen County Prosecutors Office and Elmwood Park Police are searching for a man wanted in connection with a shooting in Elmwood Park.
James M. Allandale, 61, is wanted in connection with a shooting that occurred Tuesday on Lincoln Avenue in Elmwood Park, police said Wednesday.
Allandale is considered armed and dangerous, authorities said.
Police have flooded the area with police patrols, including some undercover officers, as well K-9s and police helicopters, said Elmwood Park Police Chief Michael Foligno.
We have ample resources in the area to ensure the safety and security of our residents, Foligno said.
Allandale is described by police as a white male 5-feet-10-inches tall, 175 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
Police advised the public not to approach Allandale, but instead call 911.
