A man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Olivia Pratt-Korbel in Liverpool.

A man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Olivia Pratt-Korbel in Liverpool.

The 29-year-old was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, Merseyside Police said, and was being questioned by detectives.

Three properties in the West Derby were also being searched, the force said.

Four other men arrested over the fatal shooting of nine-year-old Olivia were bailed by police on Wednesday.

Olivia was shot in her home last month when a gunman chased Joseph Nee, a convicted burglar, into the house in the Dovecot area of Liverpool at about 10pm.

Merseyside Police said: “The investigation into Olivia’s tragic murder is ongoing and we still need to build up a strong evidential picture so that we can bring those responsible to justice.”

A 34-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of the murder of the nine-year-old has been released on conditional bail.

Three other men, aged 29, 34 and 41, who were being held on suspicion of assisting an offender, have also been bailed.

Neither of the men who entered the home had any links to the family.

A service will be held for the nine-year-old in Liverpool on 15 September.

Police have appealed for anyone with information to come forward.

Detectives have said people with CCTV, dashcam or smart doorbell footage can upload it on to a dedicated portal for the investigations team.
